What/How much/How often should I feed my black ghost knife fish?

Just got this guy a few days ago. When I got him I bought frozen brine shrimp, frozen blood worms, frozen beef heart, and carnivorous sinking pellets. He won't touch the pellets, ate a few of the blood worms, ate most of the beef heart, but devoured the brine shrimp. Basically im trying to find more information on these guys. I have already googled them, but still have a lot of unanswered questions. What types of live plants do these guys especially prefer? Right now I have some anarchris, hornwort, long gry plant, short gry plant, and another small plant don't know what it is. Also, what kind of lighting bulb should I get? I know they aren't fond of light in general, but the plants need it. He is the only fish in the entire tank except for 2 mystery snails. Anyhow, this is a really cool fish. Any advice/ information would be appreciated!
