Guest singer on American Idol?

hey, i just wanted to know that just some days ago on american idol a guest singer sang rap/dancey kind of music (i think, i dont really watch much of it), he looked kinda like kanye west and his name was something like DM or MD? something like that, but when i type it down nothing comes up on youtube or whatever... does anyone know his name??
