Why do the Iraq occupation supporters blame the Democrats & protesters for the failures in Iraq?

I am a Conservative and I think we should have handled it better. However, we are committed and need to stay til we get the job done. Pulling out is the worst thing we could do. As for me blaming anyone, I blame the entire system not just the Republicans, Democrats, Conservatives, or Liberals, Everyone in Washington failed on this matter, not just a certain party or group.
