I have green moss growing on my roof..Will bleach discolor the shingles?

There are products available to rid the roof of the moss. It must be a shady part of the roof. A pressure washer used at just enough force to clean it off would be useful..It would also rid the shingles of the dirt that the moss clings to. When clean, an application of a fungicide will help it from re-occuring.
