What do you think when you receive a "family news letter" enclosed with a card?

My friends and I have started a tradition. We gather all our family news letters and we have a holiday get-together with a bottle or two of wine and we each get up and read them for entertainment. It may seem cruel to some, but I think it's cruel to have to read one by yourself (sometimes my eyes roll so far back in my head, I'm afraid I'll never retrieve them.) We've had so much fun....for just a little while all our troubles are forgotten.. I've almost split from laughter at some of those and I look forward to this next one.
