The MAF rarely sets a code due to the wide range (altitude) of output. Example: The vehicle is at 100 ft, when you start the car the MAF sends a signal (HZ) to the PCM that the vehicle is at 3,000 ft, the car runs bad with no check eng light because the output of 3,000 ft is well within range of a properly operating MAF. If you have a scanner you can monitor the PCM PID for the MAF to compare the PID with the altitude. MAF is major fuel control input. Just an idea for you to check, good luck.

There are smaller plates on the sides that protect underneath your arms. There is no such thing as a bullet proof vest. Just got this guy a few days ago. When I got him I bought frozen brine shrimp, frozen blood worms, frozen beef heart, and carnivorous sinking pellets. IDK I was just reading the yahoo news thing about Speedy Gonzales. How the news page is saying that the 1950 character is stereotypically racist. I myself think that is a bit of an oxymoron. Pregnant girlfriend gone OCD?

My girlfriend, who is about 11 weeks pregnant, was always a bit of a compulsive neat-freak before, as am I, and it's one of her many quirks that I love. I have downloaded guitar FX effects processor. but how do i use it?

i hav downloaded guitar FX version 3.04(latest)...but i really dont know how to use it. my electric guitar is connected to mic in port but i really cant understand how to produce distortion, reverb, flanger etc sounds. there is a start on on the interface which plays some preset sound on n on. there are ons for delay increase n decrease, input , output, cpu %, n lot of select boxes on the left like noise gate, distortion plus, EQ, record wav file, playback wav file, delay etc etc. i really dont know wat to do with these. even after plugging my guitar in the mic in i just produce the normal sound. wat do i need to do to produce the effects??? detailed answer wud be appreciated

How can I encourage my husband to go back to school?

My husband has a pretty decent job he def makes more then me about 20 bucks an hr. But I am trying to encourage him to go back to school. He works in a factory and he's good at his job but considering it is a factory it might not be there forever and I know he doesn't want to work there forever! He is still young only 28 and I am really trying to encourage him to go back to school so he doesn't have to slave for the rest of his life. Recently he took on a weekend shift job that requires him to work 12 hr days for only 3 days a week. So he is making the same amount of money but working much less days. I told him it will be so much easier for him to go back to school working less days (Before he was working 6 days and making the same he is now! Along with the weekend job came a raise) He acts like he really wants to do it but always says he doesn't know what he would go for and I think the 2-4 yr time frame scares him. He is really awesome at computers and I tell him he should go for something along those lines all the time, He says he would also like to maybe do electrician work. We talk about it but I know when it comes down to it it would be really hard to get him to go. He would def need some pushing in the right direction. Any suggestions on an online college or something that he could do that wouldn't take forever or something with computers? How can I encourage him? I'm a hair stylist but due to the fact that I qualify for a large amount of financial aide I am already enrolled in cles. I don't know what I am going to go for yet but just get the must haves out of the way. How can I help him realize that going back to school and getting a college degree is the only set way to a good future and would be the best decision he could make? Okay, so I have what Ive been told a unique looking Beagle dog. He's solid tan/red, with bright green eyes, he's 9 mos old and a smaller breed of beagle. (weighs about 21 pounds) anyway, We just dont have the time he deserves to give to him. He stays by himself all day, and I havent been able to train him. He was bred from two successful hunting parents. He loves everyone, very friendly, Im thinking of putting an add in the paper, he is due for his adult shots, and he has not been nutered yet, also we have a crate that we keep in the house for him along with a shingled wooden dog house that I was gonna let go with him. How much do you think I should sell all of that for? Why does the skin at my fingernail's cuticle tear back?

This has happened for awhile now, probably since I started high school,or maybe earlier and I'm 18 and graduated now.. My skin has always peeled back from the bottoms of my fingernails (the cuticle or "eponychium"(sp?))..my science teacher once said it's from exposure to bacteria, or not washing my hands enough.. No spark on 86 mercrusier?

Ok, this is on a boat but is just about getting spark to the engine. There was new set of points in the glove box but I don't have a new condenser. i changed the points and ensured they open and close as the distributor rotates. I have a test lamp set up from the negative terminal on the coil and to a good ground. I get power in the on position and start but the lamp does not turn on and off when the points should be openening and closing. The lamp actually gets brighter when trying to start. I plan on changing the condenser since I put in new points but I don't have one right now. Could the condenser cause this problem? Is there any other issue that would cause this? I don't have a feeler gauge, plan on getting one today, could the dwell angle be off so much that even though the points open and close they aren't open or closed long enough to build up the proper voltage in the coil? Anyone know what the points gap and dwell angle should be in a 86 mercruier 3.0L, 140HP, 4 cyl engine?

Re-injury of the MCL? ?

On Wednesday, January 7, I was playing badminton without my knee brace and while I petal backwards to get the birdie with the correct stance, suddenly i felt a sharp pain in my left knee. It seems to twist to the right. Then I did a 360 degree turn and fell down with my left knee bent behind my thigh. My knee was like locked overnight. I think it's due to the wound getting swollen? I couldn't lift it up or really walk on it. My parents came up on thursday (the next day) and grind ginger then put it in Vodka and put it on my knee. I felt my knee burning but I think it's just decreasing the swollen area that was on my knee. I don't know if it's a good idea to heat my knee while it's swollen. I sleep with my knee raised up. Overnight, when I twist and turn, I feel I could move that knee. It was amazing. The next day at night, when I take off the bandage, I feel I could limb walk. Now, it has been about 11 days later since I got injured, I feel fine. I thought after i got re-injured, it'll take months to recover but this morning, I tried shuffling and sorta running, it was fine. I could bend my knee too. It just feels a little sniff compared to my right. I told my friends I won't play till I fully recover but sometimes I get this feeling like I want to play or run with them when we hung out together. I was thinking of going to the health center to check it out if it's okay and have his permission to play again but then he'll pive my knee and it'll hurt more. I'm still questioned about how can a re-injury feel that fast? Does anyone ever experience this or if not have you experience a re-injury and how long it took you to heal? Sorry for my long story.

Almost a month back I had 2 attacks of vertigo from nowhere.The second one gave me double vision for about 3 minutes.After that I haven't had any attacks but I still feel imbalance & nauseated at times although I am able to cope.I saw the ENT doctor & he put me on medrol (steroids) for a week saying that it could be meiner's disease in the ear.(i had lost some low frequency 3 yrs back on the left ear).It helped while I was taking the steroids but towards the tapering end the imbalance resumed & still seems to be bothering me.The Doctor said if I had it he would give me more steroids.I dont want to take steroids due to it's side effects & lowering of immunity.Is there any other simple medications,home remedies etc that can help?

My Yellow-bellied slider will only eat dried shrimp?

I have a baby yellow-bellied slider (between 2-2.5") and ever since I got him, he's only eaten dried shrimp. Every time I try feeding him pellets or even krill, he avoid them. So for the past month or so, I've been feeding him a small handful of shrimp ~3 times a day and he loves them, I'm just worried that it's unhealthy. Is that okay? 8 days late and a negative...?

So I was sure I was pregnant... Sore BBs and they are a little enlarged, Ive been sick to my stomach off and on throughout the day and have vomitted twice, constipated this week and I have had two dizzy spells that I never ever have. And my period is 8 days late... Well my cycle is anywhere from 25 to 28 days but lately its been 25 so im 8 at the most and 5 a the least late. I had basically everyday during the week I would have ovulated regardless of the cycle I based it off... I am very stressed out though lately... I just tested at noon and got a negative... Its the first time i tested since like 5 days before my period was due which was a negative. Any ideas? I have tried everything the books say, eating crackers before you get up, ginger teas or ginger ale, hard candy, bread, flat soda, eating small meals and not letting my stomach get empty, everything the books tell me. Nothing seems to work for me though, I cant even get anything done. I was wondering if anyone had similar problems and found anything that works for them. When using long lenses a tripod is essential...the length of the lens exaggerates hand movement exponentially.

I was wondering about the legality of stat padding in high school. That is to say, a coach tells the newspaper and other sources that a kid got a triple double, and there is video evidence that he didn't come close to it. Scouts could look at this in the paper and be misled because the coach lied, and in the end it could hurt the kid because the stats show he is a different player than what he really is. Would this be slander, or is there another law out there this would fall under? Could the coach get in serious trouble for this and possibly lose his job? Anaphylatic shock to food preservatives?

I was diagnosed with a severe allergy to food preservatives about 3 years ago. It took a year for them to figure out exactly what I was allergic to. I was tested for everything under the sun. Can you help with a question about baking madeleines in one of those silicone "pans"?

Shortly after I bought my silicone madeleine pan, I loaned the recipe that came with it to a friend and it disappeared. I'm not totally sure about this, but I think the instructions differed slightly from a standard madeleine recipe (for one thing, I think you're supposed to prep the pan differently). Help!
